The Sherrahs are a family group consisting of:
Tracy and Anthony Stewart with Steven and Michelle Sherrah.
Tracy and Steven, sister and brother grew up in Papakura, New Zealand.
Anthony and Michelle, brother and sister grew up in Bairnsdale, Victoria.
The two families met by chance in 1988 at the Tamworth Country Music Festival when
Tracy and Steven moved to Australia from New Zealand and Michelle was competing as a
Top 20 Finalist in Star Maker. From that moment on friendships were formed,
leading to marriages and the music group 'The Sherrahs'.
In 1996, The Sherrahs, met producer Richard Porteous and recorded an album with ABC Country: Keep In The Light.
The Sherrahs have great vocals, harmonies and musicianship and have a unqiue blend of
Country, Bluegrass and Gospel music genres.

Tracy Stewart
As part of the popular and successful South Australian group 'The Sherrahs', Tracy provides fantastic
harmonies, main vocals and plays the bass guitar. She sings a unique style of country blues and gospel
linked with a traditional feel.
For those who have followed Tracy since she immigrated to Australia in 1988, Tracy has a love for yodelling
- which she includes in each performance.
Tracy has just recorded a couple of songs at Red Brick Music. 'Little Moments' is a touching song written by
Steven Sherrah. It reflects on the moments that occur in our lives that cause us as parents to pull our hair out
or go grey but as time passes we realise these moments to be precious times with our children. 'Midnight Flyer'
originally recorded by 'The Eagles' has been a favourite of The Sherrahs that they finally had the chance to record
and demonstrates the great harmonies and style of 'The Sherrahs'.
